Introduction: Sinclair Dermatology is Victoria's largest private dermatology practice, incorporating a general skin and hair dermatology clinic with 14 specialist dermatologists and 7 Dermatology Fellows, a dermal laser clinic, a hair salon and Dermatology Investigational Research, Education and Clinical Trials (DIRECT) a dedicated dermatology research and clinical trials centre. Internationally renowned Dermatologist Professor Rodney Sinclair founded Sinclair Dermatology which has grown to become globally recognised in its research contribution. Our clinics are Melbourne based, with the main clinic conveniently located in East Melbourne and additional clinics at Pascoe Vale South and Parkville. Opportunity We are seeking full-time experienced Dermatology Fellow, to join our busy dermatology clinic at Sinclair Dermatology. Role Requirements Consult with a variety of adult and paediatric patients in clinic - up to 10 sessions per week Review patient referrals, take their medical history, examine, diagnose, treat, refer to other specialists, request laboratory testing, prescribe medication and associated therapies, report back to referring doctor, maintain patient clinical records, review results and communicate to patients. Perform non-invasive biopsy or excision procedures Discuss skin healthcare with patients Work with our support team of nurses, reception, patient coordinators, medical administration and practice managers contributing to smooth running of clinic Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, coupled with an empathetic demeanour Be patient focused Willing to supervise and mentor junior colleagues Willing to refer patients to relevant clinical trials, where appropriate. Remuneration package and full employment benefits and entitlements provided will be up to $120,000 plus superannuation based on experience. About You - You Hold In addition to skin disorders and skin cancer experience, must have subspecialty experience in treatment of hair disorders including Androgenetic Alopecia, Alopecia Areata, CCA, FDS, DLE including most up-to-date treatments such as PRP and medication regimes Remuneration package and full employment benefits and entitlements provided will be up to $120,000 plus superannuation based on experience.
