Visit The Welcome Experience | NSW Government Essential Criteria Evidence of a Medical Qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Evidence of relevant senior experience, such as working on the senior/in‑charge roster and recency of practice within Emergency Medicine. Minimum of 7 years postgraduate experience and 5 years experience in Emergency Medicine in Australia or an equivalent setting. Evidence of or working towards FRACGP, FACRRM and additional qualifications in Emergency Medicine are desirable. Selection Criteria Holds registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Eligible for registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist or General Practice (FRACGP or FACRRM) or training towards specialist or additional qualifications for Emergency Medicine (such as Fellowship inιώ General Practice or ACEM Emergency Medicine Diploma). Demonstrated significant senior experience relevant to Emergency Medicine practice and evidence of competence in skills relevant to Australian rural hospital practice,akake trauma and emergency scenarios. Experience managing patients in an inpatient setting. Demonstrated effective clinical communication through information technology, and written, verbal and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, build collaborative partnerships and provide leadership of a team. Demonstrated experience, understanding and commitment to patient safety and other aspects of clinical governance. Demonstrated commitment to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching of medical, nursing and allied health professionals and to continuing self‑education, research and quality improvement. Demonstrated commitment to behaviours which align to the NSW Health CORE values and SNSWLHD Values, goals and strategies; commitment to participate in an equitable medical roster, including evenings, nights and weekend shifts. Additional qualifications in Emergency Medicine desirable.
