Corio Bay Innovators Inc trading as dal Cafe and Catering – Geelong VIC We are seeking experienced and talented Cooks to join our team at dal Cafe and Catering' in Geelong, VIC. We have two (2) part‑time roles where you will play a vital role in the kitchen, preparing delicious meals for our cafe and catering customers. As an experienced Cook, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of all menu items to our high standards. This position requires availability for weekdays only between 7.30am and 3.00pm What you'll be doing Preparing and cooking a variety of meals using fresh, high‑quality ingredients Ensuring all dishes are presented to a consistently high standard Adhering to food safety regulations and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen environment Providing guidance and training to our supported employees and team Collaborating with the front‑of‑house team to deliver an exceptional customer experience What we're looking for Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cook in a fast‑paced cafe or catering environment Strong working knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques and health & safety regulations Ability to work effectively in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines Excellent communication and customer service skills Certification in Food Safety Handling is desirable What we offer At dal Cafe and Catering', we pride ourselves on providing a supportive and inclusive work environment. dal is a local Geelong Social Enterprise operating for over 30 years to provide training and work opportunities to young adults with disabilities; in your role you will contribute to their training, skills and safety.
