Experienced Flow Wrap Machine Operator & Pack Room Person Location: Richmond, Victoria (Excellent Public Transport Access) Job Type: Full-Time, Day Shift Are you an experienced Flow Wrap Machine Operator with a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of food safety? We are a small, friendly cookie and baked goods company in Richmond seeking a dedicated individual to join our production team. Key Responsibilities Flow Wrap Machine Operation: Efficiently set up, operate, and troubleshoot our flow wrap packaging machine to ensure continuous, high-quality packaging of our baked goods. Our machine is a TLM Futura Flow Wrapper suited to bakeries and fresh food manufacturers. Pack Room Duties: Assist with all aspects of the pack room, including manual packing, labeling, and preparing orders for storage and dispatch. Compliance Paperwork: Accurately complete all necessary job sheets, quality checks, and compliance documentation (e.g., weight checks, temperature logs). Quality Control: Monitor product quality and packaging integrity throughout the shift, reporting any issues promptly. Maintenance & Cleaning: Perform routine cleaning and basic preventative maintenance on the flow wrap machine and maintain a clean, organized work area. Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of our small, friendly production team to meet daily targets. What You'll Bring Essential Experience: Proven, hands‑on experience operating a flow wrap machine (or similar automated packaging equipment) in a food manufacturing environment. Experience Requirements: Minimum of 6-12 months flow wrap machine operating experience is essential for this position. Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in small-scale food manufacturing is helpful. Food Safety Focus: A strong, demonstrable understanding of Food Safety and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) principles. Attention to Detail: Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail for completing paperwork accurately and maintaining high standards of packaging.
