headspace provides support to young people aged 12-25 experiencing mild to moderate or emerging mental health issues. The multidisciplinary team at headspace Kiama work to improve health, social, vocational and educational outcomes for young people. Grand Pacific Health is the lead agency of headspace Kiama. We are a not-for-profit, primary health care organisation providing locally-tailored, high quality physical and mental health services across NSW and the ACT. About the position The Clinical Lead is a key leadership position within the headspace Kiama centre. As a Clinical Lead, you will provide oversight for the coordination and delivery of clinical services and ensure that day-to-day clinical work is carried out to the highest standard to meet the needs of young people and their families. This will include providing support and guidance to the multidisciplinary team, coordinating clinical reviews and actively supporting the management of referrals and demand management strategies. This position also involves maintaining a small caseload providing 1-2 counselling sessions each day. This role will ensure efficient, effective, safe and high-quality clinical and psychosocial youth mental health service delivery, consistent with best practice guidelines. This is fixed term, a part-time (22.5 hours per week) opportunity to 30 June 2026 with likelihood of extension following funding renewal. We are looking for someone with: Current full AHPRA registration as a clinical psychologist, registered psychologist, mental health nurse, or occupational therapist (accredited with OTA in mental health), or accreditation with the AASW as a mental health social worker (or working towards). Must have experience in mental health service delivery. Advanced clinical skills including clinical triage, assessment, delivery of evidence based, focused psychological therapies and support of young people at risk. Experience in continuous quality improvement and development and delivery of effective clinical processes that contribute to the clinical governance of a service. Demonstrated skills in clinical supervision and clinical leadership within a multidisciplinary team.
