Enabled by strategic business growth Novon Lighting have recently expanded into a consolidated lighting product warehouse, manufacturing & testing hub in Arndell Park. The Opportunity Are you passionate about light, design, and innovation? We’re looking for a Lighting Designer to join our dynamic team and help us bring spaces to life through inspiring, sustainable, and well-crafted lighting solutions. In this role, you’ll work closely with our Lighting Design Lead and Sales Team to deliver creative and technically sound designs that meet client expectations. You’ll receive comprehensive training and mentorship to build your expertise and contribute meaningfully to every stage of the design process. Roles and Responsibilities Collaborate with the sales team to create innovative, market-competitive lighting solutions for commercial and architectural projects. Support the design team in developing lighting layouts, and proposals that align with client requirements. Prepare lighting calculations, documentation, and reports. Communicate effectively with engineers, consultants, and clients to ensure technical accuracy and project success. Assist with product selection and specification queries. Ensure project deliverables meet design standards and client expectations. Contribute to continuous improvement in design quality and creativity. Skills & Experience Education: Master of Architectural Science (Illumination Design), or a degree in Architecture or Interior Design with a strong interest in lighting. Experience: 1–3 years in the lighting, architectural, or design industry (graduate roles considered). Technical Skills: Proficiency in AGi32 and AutoCAD Bonus Skills: Strong presentation and visual communication abilities; Microsoft Office proficiency. Personal Attributes: Passionate about lighting and design, with a keen eye for detail and innovation. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
