About you Can you drive a car?We’ll teach you to drive a bus If you’ve had a current, full Australian driver’s licence for at least 2 years and you have full working rights in Australia, our six-week, paid training course will teach you all the skills you need – and at the end you will graduate with your Heavy Rigid licence. We will also organise and pay for the following to get you on the road: A National Police Check from Tasmania Police. Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (RWVP). A pre-employment physical assessment, including a Drug and Alcohol test. A Public Passenger Vehicle (PPV) licence. Have your medium rigid licence already?
