Description Here at Amazon we are currently seeking experienced Operations Shift Managers to join the business and play a critical role in leading our team of associates within our Delivery Station in Bella Vista. As an Operations Shift Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining our customer expectations to ensure customer orders are delivered at the right time and to the right location. We have multiple opportunities available across the following shift patterns: Day Shift Dispatch – 05:30 am – 15:30 pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Afternoon Shift – 13:00 pm – 11:00 pm, Wednesday to Saturday. Night Shift – 11:00 pm – 09:00 am, Sunday to Wednesday.
Key job responsibilities Leading and developing a team of Amazon associates. Leading by example and with empathy. Maintaining Health and Safety standards while promoting a health‑and‑safety culture on‑site. Collaborating with all support teams including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans to meet business objectives.
Proactively identifying and leading process improvement initiatives and Lean tools. Physically required to push, pull, squat, bend, and reach varying weights, up to 100 lbs during shifts. A day in the life You will be an inspiring leader within our Delivery Stations, working to continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes and ensuring customer orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost‑effectively as possible. Along with your peers, you’ll ensure that all workflows run smoothly and that customer expectations are met, if not exceeded.
Basic Qualifications 1+ years of employee and performance management experience. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (Blue Badge/FTE) experience. Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays. Can push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 lbs during shifts.
Work a permanent night shift schedule (if applicable). Authorized to work in Australia without sponsorship. Preferred Qualifications 1+ years of experience in performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques.
