About the Role We are seeking an experienced Snr HR/IR Advisor to lead our Industrial Relations function while supporting broader Human Resources initiatives. This role is critical in ensuring our enterprise agreements are interpreted accurately and applied effectively across our workforce operations. You’ll work closely with senior leadership, site managers, payroll, and finance teams to ensure smooth industrial relations and compliance with relevant awards, enterprise agreements, and legislation. Key Responsibilities Lead all IR activities including enterprise agreement interpretation, dispute resolution, and union negotiations. Assist with HR projects including policy development, workforce planning, and organisational change. Provide expert advice on Award and EA compliance, ensuring operational adherence to industrial instruments. Accurately interpret and apply rates, penalties, and allowances in line with EA and project requirements. Collaborate with Payroll to ensure correct rate calculations and employee entitlements. Advise managers and supervisors on best practice IR/HR approaches. Manage grievance and disciplinary processes with professionalism and legal compliance. About You Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field. Minimum 5 years’ experience in a senior HR/IR role, preferably within civil infrastructure, construction, or related industries. Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, Modern Awards, and EA interpretation. Demonstrated ability to analyse and interpret complex rate structures and implement them correctly. Confident communicator with strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills. Proactive, detail‑oriented, and solutions‑focused. Why Join Us?
