Job Title Medical Record Clerk (Grade 2) – Health Information Services (Permanent Part Time). About the Role This is a Permanent Part Time position at 0.63 FTE, 48 hours per fortnight. Working days are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 am– 4:30 pm. You will be responsible for the management and maintenance of physical and electronic medical records and for updating the integrity of patient information. You will work both as part of a team and autonomously to supply medical records and information to internal and external clients. Classification range: AO21 – AO25. Base salary $66,468–$73,812 per annum, plus superannuation. What You’ll Achieve Preparation and sorting of patient documents prior to scanning. Process requests for information from external sources and release information following of Information and Release of Information procedures. Provide high‑level customer service and engage professionally with all stakeholders. Participate in performance reviews, development plans, KPIs, training and team activities as scheduled. Actively contribute to team excellence through efficient and equitable completion of tasks. Your Skills and Experience Strong commitment to teamwork. Proficiency in established administrative processes and systems. Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with diverse stakeholders. Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and Adobe. Other Requirements Current National Criminal Record Check, or willingness to obtain one. Valid Working with Children Check. Compliance with RCH’s “Staff Immunisation – Prevention of Vaccine Preventable Diseases” procedure. Benefits Salary packaging. Parkville location close to public transport.
