Key Responsibilities and Requirements Proven ability to lead learning and effectively administer a faculty Highly skilled classroom practitioner with experience teaching Science across Stages 4–6 The ability to teach either Physics and/or Chemistry is highly advantageous Capacity to create safe, supportive learning environments and promote student wellbeing Ability to adapt the College’s Learning Framework and collaborate within a dynamic professional learning community Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills to build positive relationships with staff, students, parents/carers, and the wider community Commitment to aligning professional learning with student needs and fostering a climate of excellenceSound pedagogical practices and ability to inspire students Willingness to contribute to extracurricular activities and College life The successful applicant will Demonstrate commitment to the Mission of Catholic education and support the Lasallian ethos Adhere to the College’s Safeguarding Standards and Child Protection policies Be an experienced, innovative, and engaging team leader Teach with excellence and professionalism Integrate ICT effectively in teaching and learning Commit to ongoing professional growth The appointment is for an initial period of up to 3 years, renewable by mutual agreement.
