Job Overview Hydraulic Hose Technician / Mechanical Fitters; Workshop & Mobile positions available, Immediate start for suitably qualified applicant. Qualifications & Experience Current unrestricted right to work in Australia or Australian residency. Permanent residence within the Gold Coast region or willing to relocate immediately to start the position. 12 months experience of the above. Minimum of 2 years experience in hydraulic hose work or mechanical fitting within the industry. Good communication skills – at least intermediate level fluency in English (Read/Write/Speak). Current clean manual car licence and prepared to provide licence history printout if required. Reliable means of transport to and from work. Prepared to work after hours and share after hour call outs with fellow hose technicians when required. Working week: Monday to Friday (40 Hours) Responsibilities Conduct testing of mechanical systems and hydraulic control systems. Inspect, test, and analyse the condition of hydraulic systems, pipes, hose assemblies and mechanical components. Manufacture and installation of hydraulic pipe & hose assemblies including installation of hydraulic components, mechanical assemblies & associated components. Additional Skills Parker hydraulic hose, fittings & associated product knowledge a defiant advantage. Benefits Tafe accredited Parker Enzed training after qualifying period, if required. On‑going in house training and continued support. Late model light truck – fully equipped Service Vehicle is provided. Opportunity of sub‑contract rate or performance bonus after qualifying period.
