About the Role As a Track Civil Project Engineer on the Inland Rail Beveridge to Albury Tranche 2 Project, you will manage and oversee track earthworks, track drainage, and track scope across eight B2A T2 sites. You will coordinate with project managers, engineering teams, and stakeholders, ensuring safety and quality standards. Project Description Inland Rail connects Melbourne and Brisbane via regional Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. The Beveridge to Albury (B2A) project covers about 305 km of rail corridor. Tranche 2 includes track alignments, new road overbridges, and station modifications for double‑stack freight trains. Responsibilities Lead engineering and design aspects of rail infrastructure components. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams for rail track civil integration. Manage construction, oversee contractors, and ensure timely, on‑budget delivery. Apply innovative solutions to engineering challenges and improve operational efficiency. Engage stakeholders, including regulators, clients, and community groups. Implement sustainable engineering practices to minimize environmental impact. Drive continuous improvement of processes and methodologies. Qualifications Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Extensive experience in rail infrastructure projects, leading teams. Strong technical knowledge of bulk earthworks, civil infrastructure, standards, and compliance. Excellent project management, leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Forward‑thinking mindset with commitment to innovation, sustainability, and continuous improvement.
