We are seeking a passionate and skilled Rehabilitation Counsellor / Psychologist to join our team, working exclusively with Australian Defence Force veterans. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting veterans who have sustained injury, illness, or trauma. Your Role Use your clinical expertise and reasoning to support veterans in achieving rehabilitation goals and readiness for civilian life. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including medical specialists, treatment providers, and other stakeholders to facilitate recovery and return to function. Develop, implement, and monitor tailored rehabilitation plans for clients, becoming a portfolio expert. Perform a variety of assessments & services including Vocational Assessments, Job Readiness, Initial Needs Assessments and Vocational Counselling. Work flexibly across Acumen offices and from home. What You’ll Bring Current unrestricted (or eligibility for) registration or membership with the relevant industry body (AHPRA or ASORC). Tertiary qualifications in Rehabilitation Counselling or Psychology (Fully registered or Provisional Psychologists with external supervision). Strong clinical reasoning and stakeholder engagement skills. A genuine passion for helping people rehabilitate and thrive. Occupational rehabilitation experience is essential. Experience working with Military, Veteran or Emergency Services clients (or similar cohorts) is highly desirable. What You Can Expect A supportive team environment with a strong sense of purpose.
