Deputy Manager – CareTech – Newcastle-under-Lyme Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme, United Kingdom Contract: Full Time, Permanent (36 hours per week) Salary: £14.36 per hour About the role The Deputy Care Manager supports the delivery of high‑quality care for adults with complex needs, ensuring that individual care plans are developed, implemented and reviewed in partnership with staff and families. Coordinate the assessments of service users and develop their care plans. Review, reassess, and update care plans to reflect changing needs. Allocate and monitor the implementation of care plans to appropriately trained staff. Provide individual support and assess specialist services when required. Ensure service users can express views and that these are reflected in plans. Develop and promote training opportunities for service users. Communicate individual care contracts, quality metrics and complaint procedures to service users. Maintain a high standard of professional care at all times. Foster positive relationships with the centre, families and carers. Lead and support the workforce, ensuring the effective use of staff resources. Qualifications & Experience Caring, friendly and enthusiastic nature. Excellent problem‑solving, communication and writing skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure. Experience working with adults with autism and learning disabilities. Qualification: Health & Social Level 3 Adults (essential). Volunteer or prior experience with specialist adult care services is desirable. Visa: Skilled or student visa applicants will not be considered. Benefits & Rewards £500 Recommend A Friend bonus.
