Student Wellbeing Officer – Positions Available We currently have two positions available: one full‑time permanent role one full‑time 6‑month maternity leave contract About the Role The Student Wellbeing team provides individual and group support to any identified student within the school (Prep – Year 12) facing challenges around social/emotional wellbeing. We provide practical support and short‑term intervention to increase overall wellbeing and encourage engagement with external support systems. About You We are looking for a heartfelt, genuine, adaptable Wellbeing Officer to support students and families within our school. You will be working collaboratively as part of a team to achieve best outcomes for all involved. Successful Candidates Must Hold a minimum diploma‑level qualification in counselling Have at least 2 years of experience working with children and young people Have strong knowledge of current evidence‑based practices, policies and legislation Be willing to work with the lifespan of King’s Students (Prep – Year 12) Have efficient communication skills to liaise with chaplains, teaching staff, management, parents and external providers Understand case management with strong report‑writing and case‑noting skills Be prepared to undergo professional development and ongoing supervision If you’re looking for an opportunity to have a positive impact on young people and their families and work collaboratively as part of a team, we would love to hear from you. The Pimpama Campus (on the northern end of the Gold Coast) currently has over 1,200 students on‑site, from Early Learning to Year 12. King’s Logan Village Campus (in south‑west Logan) offers places for students from Early Learning through to High School.
