The Role We are seeking a passionate Certificate III trainee to join our Lower North Shore team. As a trainee, you will be responsible for supporting the wellbeing, learning and development of our children. Key Responsibilities Assist with daily routines, activities, and care needs in your room Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging learning environment Learn to create nurturing, play-based learning experiences for children and contribute ideas to program planning and learning activities Support educators in delivering exciting, play-based learning experiences Promote child safety and wellbeing, ensuring every child thrives in a secure, supportive environment Follow all health, safety, and compliance procedures Build nurturing and respectful relationships with children and families Study towards your Certificate III while working full time across all age groups Be guided by experienced mentors and receive dedicated study time What We’re Looking For The successful applicant must be flexible and available to work their shift between the hours of 7am – 6pm over a 5-day work week Valid NSW Working with Children Check A positive, caring communicator who loves working with children Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills Enthusiastic and passionate about early learning Why You’ll Love Working with Little Leo's At Little Leo's, we believe that when our team thrives, our children flourish.
