As a Housekeeper for Another Mother, you’ll provide practical support in family homes north and south of the river — on your terms, during school hours. Responsibilities General and deep home cleaning (bathrooms, kitchens, floors, surfaces) Tidying, dishes, laundry and folding Organising and decluttering Helping reduce the mental load for busy mums and caregivers Qualifications Has lived experience caring for a family or working in a support role Has proven experience in a domestic cleaning or housekeeping role Is calm, friendly, confident and professional Works independently with strong attention to detail Can problem‑solve for others, create calm, organised spaces and take initiative to improve systems in family homes Is reliable, punctual, and good at time management Is physically fit and able to do household work for several hours at a time Is a permanent resident or citizen of Australia Has a valid driver’s licence and access to a car (must be willing to drive to jobs both north and south of the river — some fuel rebates available) Can provide (or obtain) a Police Clearance and Working with Children Check Benefits $32+ per hour, casual rate Regular shifts on your terms within your preferred work hours, with local families — become part of their village of support Clients matched to you long‑term for consistency Flexible hours that fit around school and family commitments All eco‑friendly products and equipment supplied A supportive, respectful team of mums who get the juggle of family life Team social catch‑ups — because we’re a friendly crew of mums, not just co‑workers Full training and perks How to apply Due to high volume, please include a cover letter explaining: How you fit the job criteria Why you want to work for Another Mother specifically (you can find out more about us on instagram @anothermotherfreo or One example of how you’ve overcome a challenge of day‑to‑day motherhood in your own home If you love helping others, want to be part of a supportive team of women, and enjoy creating calm, clean homes, this is the perfect job for you.
