The Role We are seeking a Support Officer to join our Digital Enablement team within the Infrastructure Workstream. This is a hands‑on, role providing technical support across our schools and central office locations. You will provide local and remote support for user devices and classroom technology. The technical environment consists of laptops, desktops, iPads, Chromebooks, Vivi, etc, which are all supported within an ITIL framework. By owning your assigned tickets, you will collaborate with Senior Support Officers, drawing on their guidance and expertise to achieve technical outcomes. Using superior interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, you will be expected to build strong relationships and create positive relationships with staff at each site. This is a permanent, full‑time opportunity to start as soon as possible. Key Responsibilities On‑site and remote support for hardware, software, networks, and classroom technologies. Receive, triage, and resolve tickets, escalating effectively when required. Collaborate closely with Senior Support Officers and the wider Infrastructure team. Communicate technical information clearly to non‑technical staff and students. Maintain accurate records of support activities, updates, and resolutions. Identify and contribute to improvements in processes, technology, and service delivery. Collaborate closely with Senior Support Officers and other team members to ensure coordinated and efficient service delivery across precincts. Ensure compliance with Work Health & Safety (WHS) requirements. Support continuous improvement by developing technical documentation and self‑help resources. Commit to ongoing learning and professional development. Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience in a technical support role spanning across multiple site locations, within a medium to large IT environment (e.g. 1000+). Experience with IT service management systems (e.g., ServiceNow). Skilled in supporting Windows, Apple, and Chromebook environments. Experience with Windows platforms, iOS, MacOS, M365, iPad apps and Google Suite. Experience with cloud‑based identity/device management (Azure AD, Intune, Google Admin Console). Have a keen eye for detail to deliver consistently accurate and informed written and verbal communications suitable for the receiving audience. Relevant Tertiary Qualification and/or Certified IT Practitioner credential (Certification in ITIL Foundation V3 with experience implementing ITIL processes is preferred) or an equivalent level of knowledge gained in related discipline through any combination of education, training and/or experience. Valid Working with Children Check. Current NSW Driver’s Licence and access to own vehicle. Benefits of Working with Us Competitive salary on offer.
