Step into a senior role with autonomy, a strong team, and the opportunity to influence long‑term success. Are you an experienced Quarry Leader ready to take ownership of a high‑performing site? We're seeking a Site Senior Executive (SSE) to oversee the full operation of a north‑side Brisbane Quarry, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient production while leading a dedicated onsite team. This role is critical to the success of the operation and requires a confident, hands‑on leader with strong WHS, environmental, and operational expertise. Key Responsibilities Leading safety and compliant quarry operations under MQSHA Overseeing daily production and equipment utilisation Managing WHS systems, inspections, audits and incident response Implementing the Safety Management Plan and emergency planning Managing environmental inspections, water, dust, air quality and vegetation Coordinating plant inspections, risk assessments and maintenance schedules Ensuring pre‑starts, documentation and weighbridge compliance Leading and developing a team of operators and contractors Overseeing drill blast planning, compliance and contractor management Managing reporting, stock‑takes and all statutory documentation Liaising with inspectors, regulators and external stakeholders Qualifications Notice of Appointment (mandatory) Diploma of Surface Operations Management Certified Drill Blast training Extensive surface quarry or mining leadership experience Strong WHS, compliance and incident management capability Ability to assess site conditions and make sound operational decisions Experience leading teams of 20+ people Strong communication with internal and external stakeholders Why Join Their Team?
