Scope is a registered provider under the NDIS and delivers a range of services including supported independent living, short term accommodation (respite), social connections, lifestyle options, therapy and employment services in over 420 service locations across Victoria and NSW. Your Role Scope has an exciting and unique opportunity for a Crew Coordinator to work within our Contract Services. The Crew Coordinator manages and supports crew members while coordinating a range of property maintenance activities, ensuring all allocated jobs are completed efficiently and to a high standard. Your Key Focus Support and coordinate a team of supported and non-supported employees to deliver a wide range of property maintenance services. Train, mentor and encourage team members—particularly those facing barriers to employment—to build capability and confidence in maintenance skills. Carry out a variety of hands‑on maintenance tasks, including landscaping, cleaning, general labour duties, painting, test and tag, and other activities as required. Maintain a strong focus on safety by following all workplace health and safety procedures and promoting safe practices across the team. Provide clear, constructive performance feedback to assist employees with skill development and achieving their goals. Skills, Experience & Qualifications Demonstrated specialist expertise in landscaping/grounds maintenance, with additional experience in at least one other: commercial cleaning, property maintenance, commercial painting, or test and tag. Relevant qualifications or solid hands‑on experience in property maintenance, landscaping, cleaning, painting, or test and tag. Ability to operate commercial equipment, including landscaping machinery (e.g., ride‑on mowers) and/or industrial cleaning tools (e.g., steam cleaners, pressure washers). Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑changing, sometimes uncertain environment. Meets mandatory compliance requirements, including NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check, eligibility to work in Australia, and relevant licences such as First Aid and a driver’s licence. The role will close on 02/12/2025, but we will be reviewing applications as they come in and may interview suitable candidates prior to the closing date.
