Senior Procurement Manager

The PEP team works closely with the investment teams at Quinbrook Infrastructure Partners across the US, UK and Australian energy markets. PEP was established to provide Quinbrook with enhanced capability in project origination, development, asset management and revenue optimisation. Role Overview The Procurement Manager is responsible for ensuring early engagement and planning with suppliers and contractors, working with all parties towards a successful development and delivery of the project. Essential to this is the development of procurement strategies that are aligned with project timelines, ensuring that supply chain risks are mitigated and activities are in line with budgeting practices. You will support development of procurement strategies, devise and deliver the time schedule, manage project costs, manage risks and opportunities including implementing mitigation strategies where necessary. Key Responsibilities Early engagement with suppliers and contractors Mitigating risk through sound knowledge of markets, contemporary contract structures and procurement methods Planning - development of procurement strategies aligned with project timelines and budget Lead pre‑construction commercial processes to ensure adequate and early scope understanding, clarify interfaces and identify scope / contract coverage gaps Manage procurement of goods, services (establishment, management, closure, settlements) Stakeholder Management : Engage with internal teams, contractors and suppliers to ensure alignment and transparency Desirable Skills, Knowledge and Experience 7+ years of experience in large-scale infrastructure or energy project procurement. Proven track record in procurement within energy infrastructure, large infrastructure projects or highly related environment. Strong understanding of pre‑construction and construction workflows. Experience in stakeholder engagement and commercial negotiations. Qualifications in Procurement and Project Management. Excellent communication, and strategic planning skills. Enhanced Stakeholder Confidence : Structured governance and reporting established prior to project delivery will boost stakeholder confidence Scalable Delivery Model : A centralized team enables repeatable processes and knowledge retention, supporting future projects by insuring speed but with lower ramp‑up costs.
