About the Role Reporting to the Systems Engineering Manager, you will lead a multidisciplinary product development team in collaboration with the Project Manager. Together, you will drive the definition, systems integration, delivery, and technical management of our metal detector products — from concept through to production. This role offers the opportunity to shape innovative products while guiding a talented engineering team through the full development lifecycle. You will: Provide clear direction to the project team, setting milestones, deliverables, and expectations. Manage the systems development process, ensuring engineering requirements are effectively communicated and that verification and validation activities qualify products for production. Coordinate prototype builds, testing programs, and field evaluations to confirm product performance and reliability. Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders (Domain Leads, Marketing Team) and external partners (customers, suppliers, subcontractors, and sales representatives). About You You will hold a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Software) and bring proven experience in senior engineering or project leadership roles within multi‑disciplinary environments. You'll have hands‑on experience across all stages of the Systems Development Lifecycle and ideally in consumer product engineering and product realisation within a manufacturing environment. We're looking for someone who: Has strong analytical and proactive problem‑solving skills, capable of making decisive, forward‑thinking decisions. Leads and motivates engineering and cross‑functional teams, mentoring others to achieve excellence. Can effectively negotiate and influence stakeholders to drive successful project outcomes.
