About the Role As a Senior Project Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering renewable energy projects ensuring engineering excellence across design, procurement, and technical management. You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to support projects from concept through to delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead owner’s engineer activities for BESS, wind and solar projects Deliver renewable energy engineering services across all project phases Coordinate engineering activities and multidisciplinary teams (electrical, civil, structural, grid connection, SCADA, commissioning) Develop and review technical specifications, performance guarantees, and design documentation Conduct technical due diligence and support compliance/commissioning activities Liaise with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to support project delivery and business development Prepare proposals and contribute to project planning, scheduling, and reporting Mentor junior engineers and promote a high standard of professionalism within the team Skills & Experience Degree in Engineering (essential) - Electrical preferred 5+ years’ experience in renewable energy engineering Experience developing and reviewing BESS/Solar technical specifications, performance guarantees, and compliance documentation (preferred) Familiarity with Australian grid connection standards and processes for renewable projects (including AEMO and NSP requirements) Sound understanding of renewable energy technologies (BESS, solar, wind) Experience in the design, integration, and commissioning of BESS/Solar for utility-scale or commercial renewable energy projects (advantageous) Ability to work independently, take initiative, and deliver on commitments Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior engineers Why Join Grid-Link?
