We are looking for experienced and talented people to continue to build a team who are: Adaptable and embrace innovation Exceptional communicators Highly capable of motivating students and influencing growth in student learning Focused on building strong and collaborative working relationships with colleagues, students and parents The school currently has approximately 20 hours of teaching, which can be allocated to either one or two tutors. There may also be opportunities for additional students in the future. Experience in assisting our string directors with rehearsals as needed would also be advantageous. About You You are a passionate and skilled music educator who thrives in a vibrant and creative learning environment. With strong communication, leadership and organisational skills, you inspire students to develop technical proficiency, confidence and a genuine love of music. You will bring: Appropriate qualifications, suitable experience and a background relevant to string performance and music education. Demonstrated experience delivering high-quality violin and/or string tutoring to students of varying ages and ability levels. Proven experience preparing students for performances, ensemble participation, examinations and ideally SACE Stage 1 and 2 Solo Performance. A student-centred approach that motivates young musicians to stretch themselves musically, set goals, and take pride in their progress. Strong professional knowledge of instrumental pedagogy, ensemble direction and meaningful performance preparation. Why join Wilderness School?
