What you'll do: As an Instructional Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organisation’s approach to workforce development by designing engaging digital learning solutions that respond quickly to evolving needs. Your day-to-day work will involve collaborating with various teams to identify training requirements, developing innovative assets using advanced technologies, and ensuring alignment with strategic goals. You will be instrumental in supporting change management efforts through agile project-based initiatives while fostering productive partnerships across departments. Success in this role means delivering high-quality training materials that empower staff at all levels, driving measurable improvements in capability, and contributing to a culture of continuous learning. Rapidly assess and scope emerging training needs across continuous improvement initiatives to ensure timely identification of workforce capability gaps. Design and develop responsive learning solutions tailored to enhance workforce skills and support organisational transformation. Create innovative digital learning assets such as video content, interactive modules, and multimedia resources that engage diverse learners. Develop micro-learning solutions and just-in-time training materials to address immediate knowledge requirements within changing environments. Integrate AI tools and technologies into the design and development process to deliver forward-thinking learning experiences. Build modular training components for scalable deployment across multiple change initiatives, ensuring consistency and adaptability. Create assessment and evaluation tools that accurately measure the effectiveness of learning interventions and drive continuous improvement. Partner closely with business units to understand change requirements, provide consultative support on learning strategies, and facilitate cross-functional collaboration. Support change management activities through targeted learning interventions that align with business objectives. Maintain strong relationships with subject matter experts and business leaders to translate complex processes into accessible learning experiences. What you bring: Your proven track record as an Instructional Designer will enable you to excel in this role by bringing deep expertise in digital asset creation, adult learning theory, and project-based instructional design. Your ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders ensures that training solutions are both relevant and impactful. You will leverage your technical proficiency across multiple platforms while maintaining a keen awareness of industry trends. Your commitment to continuous improvement—both personally and professionally—will help drive innovation within the team. By drawing on your experience developing system-based programmes for varied audiences, you will contribute meaningfully to organisational transformation while nurturing positive relationships throughout the business. Proven experience as an Instructional Designer focused on creating engaging and effective learning experiences for diverse audiences. Strong proficiency in systems including CRM platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS), enabling seamless integration of training programs. In-depth knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design models such as ADDIE, ensuring best practice methodologies are applied. Expertise in e-learning authoring tools like Articulate Storyline or Adobe Captivate as well as multimedia development software for asset creation. Demonstrated experience developing system-based and role-based training programs aligned with project objectives. Ability to engage effectively with projects, meet key deadlines consistently, and adapt quickly to shifting priorities. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a collaborative approach to stakeholder engagement across business units. Relevant qualifications such as Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or Degree in Education are highly regarded but not essential. Experience designing training for healthcare professionals is desirable but not mandatory.
