Job Description Oaks Gladstone Grand Hotel is looking for enthusiastic and service-driven Food and Beverage Attendants to join our team on a casual basis. If you're enthusiastic, service-focused, and passionate about hospitality, we’d love to welcome you to our team. You will be working in the Oak & Vine Restaurant . This role includes dinner shifts, with day shifts occasionally available across a seven-day rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays. As a valued team member, you’ll play a key role in creating memorable dining experiences by: Taking Guest Orders: Accurately and attentively recording orders to accommodate guest preferences. Menu Expertise and Recommendations: Confidently recommending food and beverage options. Serving Food & Beverages :Providing professional and efficient service, while ensuring guest satisfaction. Delivering Exceptional Customer Service :Engaging warmly with guests, promptly addressing their needs, and striving to exceed their expectations. Shift Details (subject to change) Rotating roster across Monday through to Sunday. Shift times vary between 5.00pm and 1.00am. Occasional day shifts may be required within the restaurant. RSA certificate required. RSG certificate highly desired. Hourly rates (excluding super): Monday – Friday: $31.19 per hourSaturday: $37.43 per hourSunday: $43.66 per hour Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate: Previous experience as a waitstaff, bartender, or in a similar hospitality role. A current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification. A current RSG (Responsible Service of Gambling) certification highly desired. A warm and approachable demeanour with a positive attitude. Proven experience delivering high-quality customer service. Professional presentation and exceptional communication skills. Reliability, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
