The team will move to our new Chadstone office in early 2026, a space that inspires creativity, collaboration, and connection. Responsibilities Collaborate with the design team to create commercial, customer‑focused, coordinated graphics for women’s outerwear and youth ranges. Identify, interpret and implement global market trends to grow sales through high‑impact everyday products. Develop graphic trend forecasts, present findings, and maintain strong aesthetic taste to guide seasonal direction. Interpret range architecture to produce coordinated artwork that reflects Kmart’s handwriting and taste level. Brief overseas graphic designers and ensure coordination for commercial outcomes. Create desirable graphics applied to products, aligning with Kmart’s handwriting and mission. Understand product materials and construction to ensure accurate production art. Identify and implement global print and pattern trends, develop commercial, customer‑focused designs across yardage and graphic chest placements. Qualifications 5+ years’ experience as a Graphic Designer in apparel design, including print or textile yardage placement. Degree or equivalent in Graphic Design, Surface Pattern, Illustration, or related field. Experience in menswear, womenswear or childrenswear design is preferred. High proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign. Strong ability to forecast and implement commercial trends with broad appeal. Confidence in autonomous collaboration with merchandising and design stakeholders. Fast‑paced multitasking ability and effective time management.
