As a care worker, your role is pivotal in enhancing the quality of life among elderly or disabled clients in the community. You will provide personalised support with daily activities, ensuring their physical comfort and emotional well‑being in a safe environment. Key Responsibilities: Personal Care Assistance: Assist clients with bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting while respecting their dignity and privacy. Mobility Support: Help clients move around safely using appropriate equipment such as walkers. Household Support: Perform housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a hygienic living space. Companionship: Engage clients in social activities and meaningful conversations to prevent isolation. Emotional Support: Provide empathetic care to alleviate anxiety and promote mental well‑being. Documentation: Maintain accurate records of client care, including observations and any changes in their condition. Qualifications and Skills: Compassionate and patient attitude with a genuine commitment to elderly care. Effective communication skills to interact with clients, families, and team members. Reliability, trustworthiness, and respect for confidentiality. Physical capability to assist with mobility and personal care tasks. Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or related fields is advantageous. First aid and CPR certification is required.
