In this role, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of mechanical repairs, vehicle maintenance, and servicing. You will collaborate with our experienced mechanics and play an important role in training and guiding junior mechanics. This is a hands‑on position that will require you to work both independently and as part of a team. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in vehicles, ensuring efficient and effective servicing. Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil and filter changes, ensuring compliance with the vehicle manufacturer's service schedule. Repair, replace, or adjust critical vehicle components such as fuel, steering systems, and other specialized parts. Conduct engine tuning to ensure optimal performance while meeting environmental standards. Perform battery inspections, clean terminals, and conduct thorough safety checks on vehicles before leaving the workshop. Fit and balance tyres as part of vehicle servicing. Maintain a clean and organized workshop, ensuring tools are well‑managed and the parts room is restocked. Guide, train, and mentor junior mechanics, helping them develop their skills and knowledge. Foster a team‑oriented and supportive work environment, ensuring high standards of workmanship across all tasks. Skills and Educational Qualification: Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience as a qualified motor mechanic.
