For us, excellence in education is a journey, and we're with you every step of the way.The RoleThis is a great opportunity for an experienced Childcare Centre Manager or Centre Director to lead a fantastic team and take Montessori Academy's already outstanding educational program to the next level. This role is highly dynamic and fast paced, giving the right candidate the opportunity to work autonomously and truly make the service their own.Key Competencies
Strong understanding of industry legislation, compliance and regulationsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong understanding of business managementAbility to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environmentStrong understanding of the importance of family communicationsLeadership and mentoring skillsExcellent management skillsCurriculum planning skillsUnderstanding of the Montessori PhilosophyExperience working with preschool aged childrenPassionate about implementing early learning programsCommitment to the holistic development of their classEssential CriteriaTwo or more years' experience managing a childcare serviceBachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent) or working towards this qualificationCurrent Working with Children CheckAbility to work shifts between 7:30am - 6:00pm Monday - FridayFirst Aid Certificate or willing to obtain oneUnderstanding and working knowledge of the National Quality Framework, which includes: National Regulations, National Quality Standards (NQS), and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).Ability to speak Arabic highly regarded, but not essential
