No two days will be the same - you may hear that phrase a lot but here at Endeavour Foundation, you will see it in actionOther Key Duties Will IncludeHelping people to achieve their NDIS goals by developing important daily skills such as housekeeping, personal care, social skills and budgeting. Assisting with aspects of personal care where required to meet the individual needs of the people we support. Supporting with meal planning, cooking, light cleaning and facilitating community connection by socialising and going on outings. Providing support during daily activities such as going for a walk, going to the movies or accompanying to an appointment. Click here to find outOur Ideal CandidateWe are seeking support workers who have experience with personal care and manual handling, and comfortable delivering a high-level of care. The role involves supporting clients in SILS, who present with complex needs, experience with challenging behaviours is an advantage. The ideal candidate will also be able to support participants and contribute to a 7 day a week roster, with the flexibility for potential sleepovers depending on client needs. We have roles across a few different SIL homes in Hervey Bay.We Also RequireA Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) is advantageous. Flexibility to work a variety of times, including short shifts. Good computer skills and experience using Word, Excel and Outlook. Hold or be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check (Blue Card), NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card), First Aid, CPR, National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work), and an open Drivers License with comprehensive insurance on your vehicle.
