We are looking for a dedicated professional with 3+ years of Australian Public Practice – business services experience to become a key player in our close‑knit team. The Role In this role, you will be pivotal in managing client portfolio. Key responsibilities include: End‑to‑end preparation of financial statements and income tax returns for family groups and businesses. Managing diverse entity structures , including companies, trusts, and Self‑Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF). Advising clients on comprehensive taxation matters, including GST, Division 7A, Personal Services Income, and Capital Gains Tax. Preparing Activity Statements (BAS/IAS). Liaising effectively with statutory authorities like the ATO and ASIC on behalf of our clients. Attending directly to client queries, providing professional, timely, and valuable advice. What We Are Looking For To thrive in this role, you will possess a strong foundation in accounting and taxation with the following attributes: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in an Australian Business Services accounting practice. CA or CPA qualified (highly regarded) / part‑qualified. Proficiency in core accounting software including Xero, MYOB, and QuickBooks. Knowledge of Xero Practice Manager (XPM) is an advantage. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high accuracy in all work. Excellent presentation and communication skills , essential for client‑facing advisory services. The ability to manage deadlines effectively and work collaboratively within a small, dynamic office environment. A proactive, team‑player attitude. We are committed to building a local team.
