Coordinator Occupational Therapy

Job Summary We currently have one (1) fixed‑term full‑time parental leave vacancy, commencing late January 2026, for a period of six (6) months, with the possibility of extension. We are seeking a Coordinator Occupational Therapy to join our team. The successful applicant will provide professional governance, coordination and management of inpatient, outpatient and community Occupational Therapy services across the Rockingham Peel Group (RkPG), in collaboration with the Head of Department Occupational Therapy across all clinical areas. You will plan, implement, and evaluate patient safety and quality of care, supervise Occupational Therapy staff and support staff, and coordinate duties and manage performance. It is expected that the Coordinator Occupational Therapy will hold a clinical caseload while also providing advanced‑level clinical management for patients within the Rockingham Peel Group in a relevant clinical area. You will ensure the maintenance and development of the Occupational Therapy scope of practice, professional practice standards, and competencies of Occupational Therapy staff. Responsibilities Governance, coordination and management of inpatient, outpatient and community Occupational Therapy services. Planning, implementation and evaluation of patient safety and quality of care initiatives. Supervision of Occupational Therapy staff and support staff. Performance coordination and management of clinical duties. Advance‑level clinical management while maintaining a clinical caseload. Maintenance and development of the Occupational Therapy scope of practice and professional standards.
