Program Manager

Program Manager Duration: 36 months + potential 12‑month extension Location of work: Canberra Key Responsibilities Manage the Program and lead the delivery of project outputs using the Managing Successful Programme methodology, including overseeing budget, schedule, outcomes, risks, benefits, outcomes and quality standards Have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to manage vendor, technical and business stakeholder relationships Direct project, technical and business resources to deliver work packages by attending meetings with project teams and clients, managing risks and resolving issues Responsible for the creation and maintenance of project documentation in accordance with program requirements and methodologies based on MSP and Prince2 Engage with internal IT staff, Executive members and external agencies as required or directed Ensure projects deliver the agreed outputs Contribute to enhancing program management frameworks and processes Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other team members Record and maintain files / information in accordance with requirements About You Experience in ICT Program Management, requiring high level program management skills, preferably in large ICT program deployment Experience creating and maintaining project documentation in accordance with program requirements and methodologies based on MSP and Prince2 Experience leading the delivery of project outputs in accordance with project schedule, budget and quality standards Experience managing and coordinating procurement and vendor management activities Experience managing vendor and partner relationships Experience managing technical and business stakeholders Experience managing project risks and resolving project issues Experience attending project meetings with project teams and business clients Strong relationship, interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to manage a broad range of stakeholders Experience understanding the mechanics of government, including policy and program delivery Experience managing and directing project team Experience managing multiple and concurrent projects Project Management qualifications (Advantageous) About Araza Our organisation works with Australia's largest enterprise and government clients providing project and program teams and resources to ensure success.
