Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves operating semi‑automatic and fully automatic machinery to produce gaskets, gland packing, and other sealing products. Reporting to the Production Supervisor, you will ensure product quality, maintain safety standards, and contribute to a positive team culture. Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain production machines, including cutting, winding, stamping, grinding, and welding equipment. Conduct pre‑start checks, monitor machinery for faults, and perform routine maintenance as directed. Accurately document job process data using the Epicor system. Ensure high standards of safety by reporting hazards, wearing PPE, and following all safety protocols. Assist with packing, labelling, and inventory stocking. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and suggest business improvements. Keep the workspace organized and adhere to daily housekeeping standards. Skills & Requirements Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred but not essential). Knowledge of workplace safety practices. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and manage time effectively. Willingness to be multi‑skilled and work in various production areas. Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team‑oriented attitude. Competitive hourly wage and opportunities for overtime.
