If you’re passionate about making lives better, this is where you belong Home Support Workers help our clients with: Personal care such as showering, grooming, or assistance with dressing. Social support with companionship or attending to the community for appointments or recreational activities. Capacity‑building activities to assist with learning new skills or increasing independence. Domestic assistance such as meal preparation, grocery shopping, or light household cleaning and assistance. Recording attendance through a smartphone application, as well as a summary of tasks completed. Home Support Workers Are Required To Have: National Police Check (Less than a year old if not NDIS Worker Screening Check). Victorian Driver’s License. Comprehensively insured, registered, and well‑maintained car. Certificate III in Individual Support or a similar discipline (Aged Care, Disability, Home and Community Care, Personal Assistance). Current First Aid and CPR qualifications. NDIS Worker Screening Check or Working with Children Check is advantageous. Remuneration – Good Works for Australia pays SCHADS award wages with the addition of generous allowances pro rata to the jobs attended for the casual rates of a home support worker. Remuneration is divided into two sections: the base rate for disability and aged care services, and then the allowances and reimbursements. Selection Criteria Registered, road‑worthy and insured vehicle. Demonstrated ability to perform tasks referred to in the position overview. Alignment with company values.
