Overview Brightwater Care Group is currently building our local talent pool and seeking Hotel Services Multi Skilled team members with commercial kitchen experience. We are seeking expressions of interest for potential future opportunities to work within our residential care facilities throughout the Perth metropolitan region and Mandurah. Once in our talent pool, as soon as vacancies become available, we can reach out without delay and potentially have you onboarded in no time As a valued member of our Hotel Services team you will be responsible for ensuring a clean, sanitary, well‑maintained and home‑like environment, thorough and efficient laundry services, and preparing meals and refreshments for and with clients of Brightwater Care Group, following health codes and regulations at all times. To be considered for this rewarding role you must be available to work at least three days each week, with preference given to candidates available on weekdays. There are a variety of shifts available to be covered across the week in this role: AM various shifts between 6am-4pm PM various shifts between 3pm-8pm Responsibilities Maintaining a clean, sanitary and homely environment Providing a quality meal experience for our clients that aligns with aged care standards Ordering and maintaining cleaning and kitchen stock Providing an efficient laundry service Comply with FoodSafe and other health codes and regulations Qualifications Previous experience in a similar role which must include commercial Kitchen duties, preferably in aged care or a similar setting Knowledge of cooking and food preparation. This should include an understanding of safe meal preparation and serving presentation Demonstrated understanding of food safety – including appropriate food temperatures and food temperature danger zones Knowledge of International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) levels Knowledge and experience in cleaning and / or laundry services A caring and positive attitude Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, work effectively under pressure, problem solve and use resources effectively, safely and efficiently A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check Benefits The ability to salary package Our unique staff benefits program, including access to BrightwaterPlus which gives you discounts with over 370 retailers Extensive learning and development opportunities If you share a spirit that is caring, authentic, progressive and courageous then please read the attached job description for more information on the role, including a full list of duties.
