We are seeking an experienced, tech savvy nurse, who knows their way around General Practice, who will work closely with management, our patients, doctors and medical receptionists in the practice. Management experience is essential as you will be managing a team of nurses across two practice locations. A professional and friendly demeanour, commitment to excellent patient care, along with your high ethics and values will place you well in this role. We are a supportive practice with a focus on training and education. This position is available commencing early 2026 for job seekers looking for a full time (4 days) role in our group of practices. The role will be across both of our Nowra and Berry locations. Shifts are usually from 8:30am to 5:00pm. SELECTION CRITERIA Proven experience managing a team and working well in a team environment Experience with aspects of HR such as; rostering, holding regular meetings, performance management and training of nurses Experience in all aspects of chronic disease management with demonstrated GPCCMP and Health Assessment experience Experience with nursing assisting GPs undertaking procedures in our Skin Clinic Current knowledge of immunisation schedules, diabetes management, asthma management, enhanced primary care items, triage, wound management, infection control, CPR and emergency resuscitation techniques Knowledge and understanding of the MBS and use of relevant item numbers relating to general practice and nursing Demonstrated understanding of the needs of general practice and interest in patient education and health promotion Database management and data extraction Familiar with Recall and Reminder systems Familiar with Accreditation Excellent communication and organization skills Proactive, takes initiative and is motivated every day at work Excellent interpersonal skills, reliable and professional Well spoken, well presented and well mannered Working knowledge of Best Practice software (or similar) Working knowledge of PenCAT and Top Bar (or similar) Current professional indemnity cover Current RN registration, Division 1 with APHRA Our practice has always rewarded the right people for a job well done, and the successful candidate will be paid above the award.
