Gordon Legal is seeking a hands‑on, people‑focused IT Systems Analyst to join our Melbourne CBD office. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates with IT‑related degrees. The role is full‑time and based in‑office, supporting a busy legal practice with a strong commitment to justice and client service. We also welcome applications from IT students seeking Work Integrated Learning (WIL) or practical experience, and can offer part‑time arrangements for the right candidate. About the Role Reporting to and working closely with the Head of Data & Applications, you will support the maintenance and development of the firm’s applications, extract key data and development reporting, provide insight and analysis, and assist with the delivery of key IT projects. Additionally, you will work closely with our IT managed service provider and other external consultants to ensure our systems and infrastructure are stable and secure, and ensuring a great user experience for our staff. Key Responsibilities Assist in upgrades and enhancements of the firm’s legal practice management software (Aderant). Gather requirements from key stakeholders and assist in CRM development and deployment. Develop operational and management reporting. Provide data analytics. Liaise with our external IT providers to escalator and resolve technical issues. Assist with hardware setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance (laptops, printers, phones, etc.). Coordinate onboarding/offboarding IT needs for new and departing staff. Assist with relevant administration and documentation of IT processes. About You Strong communication and interpersonal skills – you enjoy helping people. Solid understanding of Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, and basic networking. Basic understanding of Microsoft SQL Server, SSIS, SSRS and Microsoft PowerBI principles. Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests. Experience in a legal or professional services environment, or with HubSpot CRM is a plus. Experience in a Developer/Analyst role is a plus. Must be an Australian permanent resident or citizen.
