Manage and ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests in Service Now. Maintain documentation and operational procedures for incident response and recovery. Hands‑on experience with Linux operating system administration, Linux command line, and shell scripting. Linux file system and backup management. Manage disk space and partitions. Configure and manage RAID arrays. Oversee server administration, ensuring optimal performance, security, and reliability. Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture – nodes, pods, services, deployments, and namespaces. Familiarity with key Kubernetes objects. Hands‑on experience using K8S management tools such as OpenLens, kubectl, Lens, etc. Familiarity with K8S resource management and cluster health performance monitoring – tools like Kibana, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc. Managing containers with Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes. Integrating with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) – a value add. Basic understanding of Apache Kafka. Basic knowledge of networking fundamentals. Configure network interface, routing, and hostname resolution. Manage network services. Hands‑on use of network diagnostic tools like ping, netstat, traceroute, ip, and iptables. Good knowledge of protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, LDAP, SMTP, and SNMP. Coordinate with internal teams and stakeholders to accomplish tasks. Triage and route calls/tickets to appropriate resources and domains best suited to resolve issues within SLA. Basic understanding of Zero Trust cybersecurity principles. Industry/domain experience in Electric Utility / Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) is a value add. Experience in DERMS application is a value add.
