As the Psychologist you will deliver competent psychologist interventions as a member of a hospital-based multi-disciplinary team, to optimise psycho-social outcomes for children and young people who present with severe and complex mental health problems and disorders requiring hospital-based treatment, and their families and carers. About The Team The Integrated Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) provides complex secondary and tertiary level health care. CYMHS offers specialised mental health services for families with infants, children and young people (birth to 18 years) who experience severe and complex mental health problems, and where their needs cannot be met by other services. About The Role In this role you will deliver quality outcomes for children, young people and families (Leader of Self) in accordance with the Children's Health Queensland Leadership Excellence Framework and the Queensland Public Service and the CHQ values. Your contribution will include: Clinical Practice Deliver competent clinical services in accordance with the Psychology Board of Australia Registration Standards, the Australian Psychological Society Code of Ethics and the National Practice Standards for the Mental Health Workforce. This includes: Diagnostic assessment and formulation and timely and appropriate treatment interventions, consistent with current best practice.
