Group Financial Controller

About the Role Apollo Care is seeking an experienced Group Financial Controller to oversee financial operations across our aged care network. Reporting directly to the CFO, this pivotal leadership role is responsible for financial reporting, compliance, cash flow management, and supporting strategic growth initiatives. This is a remote role, offering flexibility while contributing to the financial strength and sustainability of a leading aged care organisation. Occasional travel may be required. Key Responsibilities Oversee financial reporting, compliance, and governance across the group. Lead cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis to support decision‑making. Partner with the CFO and executive team on strategic initiatives, including M&A, capital projects, and risk management. Ensure effective oversight of outsourced bookkeeping and accounting functions. Maintain strong internal controls and audit readiness. About You We are looking for a values-driven finance leader who combines technical excellence with strategic insight. You will bring Minimum 7 years’ experience in a senior financial management role (experience in healthcare or aged care desirable, but not essential). CPA, CA, or equivalent, with a Master’s in Finance or other advanced qualifications highly regarded. Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory compliance. Proven leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. High-level analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
