Now, we’re looking for motivated and energetic individuals to help bring this magic to life Job Overview As a Ground Crew Member, you will play a vital role in supporting the pilot and passengers during all stages of the flight experience. From inflating the balloon to chasing it across the countryside, you’ll be the backbone of the operation. No two flights are ever the same, making this a truly exciting and hands‑on role. If you love working in a fast‑paced, outdoor environment and are passionate about teamwork, this could be the job for you Key Responsibilities Balloon Setup & Takedown: Assist with the preparation of the balloon before flight, including unpacking, inflating, and assembling the basket and envelope. Flight Tracking: Follow the balloon during flight using the chase vehicle, navigating to its landing location to assist with recovery. Passenger Safety: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting passengers in and out of the basket, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times. Post‑Flight Operations: Deflate, pack, and store the balloon and equipment properly after each flight, ensuring everything is ready for the next adventure. Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance and safety checks on all ground equipment, ensuring it’s always in top working condition. Customer Interaction: Engage with passengers before and after flights, answering questions, helping them feel at ease, and enhancing their overall experience. What We’re Looking For Physically Fit: This is a hands‑on, physical job. You should be able to lift and heavy equipment, perform repetitive movements, and work in various weather conditions. Outdoor Enthusiast: You’ll be working in the great outdoors, so you should enjoy being outside, regardless of weather (sunshine, wind, or chilly mornings).
