Jetwave Quayside is seeking a dedicated and experienced Marine Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Exmouth Based Role with Potential for FIFO from Perth for the right applicant. To be successful in this position, you will possess the following responsibilities Mechanical diagnostics and repairs to fleet vessels and shore‑based assets. Carry out preventative mechanical maintenance on assets and vessel‑related docking works. Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical, hydraulic and diesel engine related issues. Service, repair and maintain Jet‑Units. Service and maintain outboard engines. Fault find and repair 24 V related issues. Respond to client vessel breakdowns throughout the Pilbara, North West and Perth local ports. Ensure compliance with all HSE policies and procedures and safety regulations. Maintain accurate documentation using the correct systems and portals. Adhere to all safety protocols and industry‑related standards. Skills and Experience Experience 2 years post‑trade experience as a marine mechanic/fitter. Experience in shipbuilding, vessel repair or offshore environments (preferred). Familiarity with project reporting tools. Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of marine systems (diesel engines, propulsion, hydraulics, etc.). Competent in use of workshop tools, lifting gear and diagnostic instruments. Prepared to travel regularly and at short notice. Education & Training Certificate or trade qualification in Diesel Mechanics or Mechanical Fitting. Current Australian driving licence. Working at heights. Confined space entry. High‑risk work licences. Hold or willing to obtain a national police clearance. Ability to pass a pre‑employment medical. #J-18808-Ljbffr
