Schur - Leader of the Pack since 1846 – Thomastown VIC Schur - Leader of the Pack since 1846 is seeking a "hands‑on" motivated and experienced Storeman / Warehouse Team Leader to join our team in Thomastown, VIC. In this full‑time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of our busy warehouse, ensuring the timely and accurate processing of all inbound and outbound goods. Key responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high levels of productivity and accuracy. Oversee the receiving, storage, and dispatch of all inventory, maintaining detailed records and reporting on stock levels. Optimise warehouse layout and procedures to maximise efficiency and space utilisation. Liaise with the internal team to coordinate the timely delivery of goods to customers. Ensure all warehouse operations adhere to relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations. Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement cost‑saving measures. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address any issues or concerns. What we're looking for Significant experience in a warehousing or logistics role, with a proven track record of leading a team. Proficient computer skills, experience with scanning and ERP systems. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficient in the use of warehouse management systems and inventory control software. Forklift licence and experience in operating warehouse equipment is highly desirable.
