Experienced E&I Technicians | Oil

Ganaji Contracting is kicking off the New Year in a big way and we’re looking for experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Technicians to join a major, long-term Oil & Gas project in Karratha . This is not a stepping-stone role — it’s for technicians who already know Oil & Gas and want to work on a well-run site with a solid crew, strong systems and serious earning potential . If you thrive in live or under-construction plants, understand process safety, and take pride in doing the job properly — this role is for you. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING (THE GOOD STUFF) You’ll be hands‑on across critical Oil & Gas systems, including: Instrument calibration, loop testing & fault finding Analyzer, function & shutdown testing Control valve testing & commissioning Fire & Gas system testing and verification DCS & process logic integrity testing Reading P&IDs, loop drawings, data sheets & manuals Working with a wide range of modern test & calibration equipment This is proper E&I work on a high‑standard Oil & Gas facility — no shortcuts, no guesswork.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED (NON-NEGOTIABLE) To hit the ground running, you’ll bring proven Oil & Gas experience and the following: Demonstrated Oil & Gas experience on live process plants (this role is best suited to technicians already familiar with Oil & Gas environments) WA Electrical Licence (Unrestricted or Restricted + Cert III Instrumentation) Cert III or Cert IV Instrumentation with strong hands‑on experience Relevant trade qualification First Aid (within last 36 months) CPR / LV (within last 12 months) Construction Card (White or Blue) Full Australian working rights Cert IV EEHA – highly regarded
