Position Details Position: Cook Employment Type: Full-time with attractive salary and superannuation Experience Required: Minimum 1 year in a commercial kitchen Salary: $75,000-85,000 Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and season a wide range of menu items following recipes and quality standards. Set up workstations with ingredients, tools, and equipment to maintain an efficient workflow. Monitor dishes during cooking to ensure correct temperatures, portion sizes, and presentation. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to deliver meals promptly during peak service times. Check food supplies for freshness, store ingredients correctly, and follow stock rotation procedures. Maintain a clean, hygienic, and safe kitchen environment, in line with food safety regulations. Assist in menu development with ideas for new dishes or improvements. Monitor stock levels, report shortages, and assist with ordering supplies. Adapt recipes or cooking methods for special dietary needs, allergies, or customer requests. Safely operate kitchen equipment and report issues or perform minor maintenance when required. Why Join Us?
