Key Responsibility Areas Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching goods. Ensure compliance with WHS, quality, and operational standards. Manage and mentor warehouse staff, including performance reviews, training, and scheduling. Monitor inventory levels and stock accuracy; implement improvements in processes and systems. Liaise with internal departments and external partners to optimise logistics efficiency. Maintain accurate records and reporting on warehouse activities, KPIs, and incidents. Leadership Responsibilities Provide clear direction and support to warehouse team members. Foster a safe, collaborative, and high-performance work environment. Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise workflow and reduce costs. Key Relationships Leads: Warehouse Team Internal: Operations, Customer Service, Planning Position Criteria Accountability and Authority: Ensure warehouse operations meet organisational and regulatory standards. Authorise stock movements and manage team schedules. Specialist Skills and Knowledge: Proven experience in warehouse management or logistics. Knowledge of WHS regulations, Chain of responsibility, and warehouse systems. Ability to analyse workflows and implement process improvements. Judgement and Decision Making: Make operational decisions to ensure efficient and safe warehouse processes. Resolve team and process issues promptly. Strong team management and coaching skills. Ability to motivate and develop staff performance. Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Qualifications & Experience: Relevant warehouse/logistics qualifications preferred.
