Domestic Assistant - Pingelly and surrounds - WA We’re recruiting Domestic Assistants for a casual role (15–40 hours per week), mainly needed Monday–Friday between 7:00am and 3:00pm. Applicants must live in Beverley, Aldersyde, Brookton, Jelcobine, Hastings, Wardering, East Pingelly, Bulyee, Pingelly, West Pingelly, Popanyinning, West Popanyinning. Domestic Assistants support clients to maintain independence by providing domestic assistance, general housekeeping, meal preparation and social support. The role involves travelling between clients’ homes, following a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, so a reliable vehicle and ability to work autonomously are essential. What’s on offer $32.86 per hour ($41.08 casual rate inclusive of 25% loading) + super. Travel allowance of $1.03 per km. Provided with a mobile phone for work purposes. 17.5% annual leave loading and excess leave cash out options. 4‑6 weeks annual leave per year, with ability to purchase up to 4 weeks additional leave per year. What we’re looking for A valid Drivers’ Licence with unrestricted access to a registered vehicle which is appropriately insured and in good condition, is essential. Ability and willingness to work autonomously in the community, travelling from home to home, referring to a digital schedule and care plan via a mobile app, will be essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skills are essential. The role Provide high‑quality support that promotes client independence. Deliver domestic assistance and general housekeeping tasks. Prepare meals and support clients with basic nutrition needs. Provide social support and assist clients to remain engaged in their community. Follow a predetermined schedule while travelling between clients’ homes. Use a mobile app to access and follow digital schedules and care plans independently. Maintain unrestricted access to a reliable vehicle for travel between visits.
